Drinking water

Tap water in Rome is potable—in fact, feel free to drink from the “nasoni” (“big noses”, public drinking fountains) scattered all around the city. In the Department buildings, you can also find free water dispensers that provide both still and sparkling water.

Coffee and snacks

There is no cafeteria inside the Department. Coffee and snacks can be purchased from the several vending machines. We recommend you download the “coffee cApp” app, which allows for cashless purchases from the vending machines.

Meals

For your meals, you can choose from a wide variety of bars, pizzerias, bakeries, and restaurants located in the surroundings of the Department. Here are some of our recommendations.
